Image Relay, LLC provides services that help organizations manage their valuable digital assets. Our main service is a Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) platform for digital asset management. We are a certified B-Corporation based in Burlington, VT.
When you use the Image Relay website www.imagerelay.com, Image Relay’s associated domains, Image Relay’s API (“API”), Image Relay applications on devices, or through third parties (collectively “Services”), this Policy will apply.
This Policy describes the information we collect from you, how we use that information, and our legal basis for doing so. It also covers how that information may be shared and your rights regarding the information you provide to us.
When you sign up for Image Relay, we ask for your name, company name, and your email address. When you upload files to our Services we collect information on your files, such as, file properties, metadata, and distribution information. At all times you retain full ownership and control over your files and information. When you elect to use paid Services you will provide your billing information which is collected by our payment processing vendor, Chargeover. When you provide users access to the Services their name and email will be collected. When you use our Services, we collect information, such as IP addresses, browser type, platform, page navigation, login time, and acceptance of download agreements. When you interact with customer support we will collect information pertaining to your support needs. When we send out surveys or promotional offers, you will have the option to participate. When participating we will collect this information for research and marketing purposes.
Your information WILL NOT be sold or shared for the purpose of generating advertising revenues. Your information is used solely (a) to personalize and improve our Services, (b) to perform transactions or requests necessary to meet our Terms of Service agreement, (c) to inform you of feature upgrades, promotions, support needs, or service announcements, (d) to comply with laws or respond to lawful requests and legal process, (e) to perform transactions with trusted third-party software providers that you have requested our Services integrate with whether using our API or choosing to integrate with one of our application partners, and (f) if we are acquired by or merge with another company. In the event of a merger or acquisition taking place we will promptly notify you prior to any transfer of information.
You may decline to provide us with your information. However, this will limit your ability to register for an account or use our Services.
We use trusted third-party vendors for necessary hardware, storage, networking, and related technology services in connection with providing you with, promoting, and improving our Services. Third-party providers will only have access to information necessary to fulfill their obligations to Image Relay and for Image Relay to be compliant with our Terms of Service. We partner or integrate our Services with third-party application providers to provide you with increased performances as part of our Terms of Service. If you choose to integrate with a third-party application provider or utilize an existing integrated option your information will be shared as necessary to deliver these Services. All third-party partners are compliant with GDPR and adhere to the minimum requirements as set forth by the EU Privacy Shield.
Individuals have the right to access their personal data to review, edit, correct, or delete it from our system. You may access and update your personal information by logging into your account on Image Relay and clicking on the “Account” button in the upper right hand corner of the page. You can also request an activity log report by contacting email@example.com. At anytime a User can delete their account access. When a User’s account is deleted their personal information will be removed, and the User will no longer have use of the Services.
Data protection law in the European Union requires a “lawful basis” for collecting and retaining personal information from citizens or residents of the European Economic Area. Our lawful bases include: Performing our end of the contract with you. In some circumstances, we need your personal information to comply with our contractual obligation to deliver the Services. Legitimate interests. We sometimes require your data to pursue our legitimate interests in a way that is expected as part of running our business and that does not impact your rights. For example, we use identity, device, and location information to prevent abuse and to keep our Services secure. We may also send you promotional communications about our Services, subject to your consent. We also analyze how users interact with our site so we can improve the Services offered.
Image Relay has further committed to refer unresolved privacy complaints under the Privacy Shield policies to an independent dispute resolution mechanism, the BBB EU Privacy Shield, operated by the Council of Better Business Bureaus. The security of your information is important to us. When any of your personal information is in transit or At Rest with us we encrypt such information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Please review our Security Policy for more detailed information. https://www.imagerelay.com/security
We will retain your information as long as your account is active, as necessary to provide you with the Services, or as otherwise set forth in this Policy. We will also retain and use this information as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy and to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Cookies are small data files downloaded onto your computer when you access certain websites. These files store information about your visit and use of the website’s services. Pixel tags are similar to cookies and are small amounts of code, or small images, that learn about you interact with the website and emails sent from that website.
The types of cookies we use:
These are sent to the user’s terminal from a machine or domain managed by the website’s publisher, from which the service requested by the user is supplied.
These are sent to the user’s device from a machine or domain which is not managed by Image Relay but is instead managed by another entity that processes the data obtained using cookies.
Session cookies: this type of cookie is designed to collect and store data while the user is viewing a website.
Persistent cookies: the data collected by this type of cookie remains stored on the users device and can be accessed and processed for a specific period by the party responsible for the cookie. This period may last for minutes or years.
Technical cookies: These are cookies that allow the user to navigate around a website and make use of the various options and services.
Personalised cookies: these are cookies that allow the user to access a service with some generally pre-defined characteristics, based on a set of criteria stored in the user’s own device.
Analysis cookies: cookies that allow the person responsible for the cookie to follow-up and analyse the behaviour of users of the websites to which they refer. Image Relay uses analysis cookies from Google Analytics and Mixpanel.
You can allow, block or remove the cookies installed on your equipment using the options settings for the browser installed on your computer:
Chrome Click on “Tools > Settings”, and then select the tab “Privacy > Content settings.” After selecting the option “Show advanced options”, select the desired cookie setting. If you do not want cookies to be installed, you may select the option “Block third-party cookies and site data.”
Firefox Click on “Tools > Options” in the menu bar and select the “Privacy” tab. Depending on the browser version you are using, select or deselect “Accept cookies from sites” or “Tell sites that I do not want to be tracked”. Any cookies installed can be removed by clicking on the “remove individual cookies” option.
Internet Explorer Click on “Internet Options” in the “Tools” menu and then select the “Privacy” tab. Select the desired setting and click on the advanced settings button. Activate the “Override automatic cookie handling” box. Select the “Accept” or “Block” option.
Safari Click on “Tools > Preferences” and select the “Security” tab. Under the heading “Accept cookies” choose “Always” or “Never”. If you have an iPhone, you must go to “Settings > Safari” and then select whether you do or do not want to accept cookies. You can also opt out of being included in Google Analytics here.
